| Short and Feature-length Movie Development |
| BusinessFilm Elan is the cinema development branch of BusinessFilm Productions. Our mission is to identify promising short and feature-length film material, and then attract financing from American and European sources to get movies made. |
| |
| We're currently on the lookout for top-quality screenplays, in both short and feature lengths. Our goal is to establish relationships with the brightest talents in the screenwriting world, including young as well as established writers. Because BusinessFilm Elan is about getting films made, we offer several programs dedicated to screenwriters who want to see their material shot and on the screen: |
| |
| |
The Five Minute Hotel Challenge |
| |
$300 Short Film Screenplay Contest |
| |
The Winners Circle 2006 - Shorts |
| |
$500 Short Film Screenplay Contest |
| |
| |
The Winners Circle 2006 - Features |
| |
$1000 Feature-length Screenplay Contest |
We also accept open submissions year-round for short film screenplays through the BusinessFilm Short Film Action initiative. |
Please note that you can only submit a given screenplay into one of the above contests or initiatives; so please choose the avenue that best fits your script's theme and length. |
